The Lady Chargers got off to another fast start Tuesday night against the Millwood Lady Falcons. The Lady Chargers scored double digits in their third straight game, winning each of the trio by run rule. It is also The Hall's 4th straight win – the most in the Fastpitch program's 8 year history. The win brought their record to 8-6 on the season.

The Lady Falcons, like the past victims of the Lady Chargers, broke the scoring early in the top of the 1st with one run off of an error. The Hall responded quickly with one of their own in the bottom half of the first on a KyAnn Woods' RBI single. In the top of the second, Millwood threatened, but stranded a runner on third thanks to major defensive plays by third baseman Maci English and pitcher Trudie Taylor.

The Hall took the lead and never looked back, breaking the tie and dropping six on Millwood in the bottom half of the second inning. Tia Brown got the scoring going with a RBI double bringing in Safia Salim. Alina Wilson carried the momentum with an RBI double driving in Brown and Taiya Parker. KyAnn Woods added to her night, driving another RBI single to the gap to bring home Kaylie Kerr. English stole home on the next pitch and Gabby Bowen capped the high scoring second with a RBI ground out to bring in Woods.

The Hall squashed another scoring threat after the Lady Falcons started the inning off with an apparent triple. However, the Lady Chargers negated the would-be triple by throwing the runner out advancing to third to keep the score 7-1. The Hall was not done scoring though as they added 4 more to the board to add more cushion to their lead. Salim led off with a single and stole home one pitch before Brown hit a single as well. Then, Kerr smacked an RBI single to bring in Brown. Maci English added another RBI with a squeeze bunt to bring in Kerr. Woods picked up her third RBI of the game driving in English to extend the lead to 11-1.

Millwood added a run to the board in the top of the fourth inning on a homerun to deep left field by third baseman Jayla Plunkett, but it was too little too late for the Lady Falcons as the Lady Chargers would add one more on a Salim RBI single after Annie Perkins' leadoff triple. Salim's RBI would end the game due to run rule as the Lady Chargers grounded the Lady Falcons 12-2.

Heritage Hall had another strong defensive performance Tuesday night which led to another win. The Hall committed only two errors compared to the Lady Falcons' three errors. Taylor picked up her fifth win, (without any losses) pitching all four innings allowing only two runs on four hits and striking out three as well.

The Hall boosted their stellar defense with aggressive bats. The Lady Chargers scored 12 runs on 12 hits, while only allowing Millwood two runs on four hits. Kyann Woods led the way for The Hall going two of three at at the plate with two RBI's and a double. Alina WIlson went two for three with a double and 2 RBI's, while teammate Safia Salim was a perfect three for three at the dish with a walk-off RBI hit.

The Lady Chargers play for the third time this week when the Wellston Tigers come into town on Friday at 4:30pm. Upcoming broadcast games include a September 7th rematch against the  Crossings Christian Knights and a September 11th showdown with the Community Christian Royals. Games can be viewed on Chargervision at hhchargers.tv.
