Eager to continue improvement against a schedule that featured 13 ranked foes out of 21 opponents in the regular season, the Chargers were led by a gritty quartet of seniors – starting forward Roman Welch and veteran role players Terence Brown, Carter Knowles, and Barrett Travis.

With 13 of 21 regular season games against opponents ranked in the Top 20, this year's squad battled their way to an 11-15 record and an Area appearance. Seven of The Hall's losses were in games decided by 6 points or fewer. Memorable moments included a season-opening win over 4A #12 OCS, a grueling double-overtime victory at Casady, a trio hard-fought wins to capture the Jones tournament title, capturing the program's 23rd District title, and a 23-point throttling on the road at #10 CCS to begin Regional play.

Swingman T.J. Williams '27 led the Chargers in scoring (18.6), rebounding (5.3), three-point shooting (33 at 40.2%), and blocks (9 total). Electric sophomore point guard Xzavier Mbroh (12.3 pts, 3.9 reb, 2.5 ast, 2.0 steals) was joined by lock-down guard Denton Suthers (6.9 pts, 3.4 reb, 2.1 ast, 1.8 steals) in the backcourt. Welch provided stabilizing leadership and relentless hustle (6.5 pts, 4.1 reb, 1.1 ast). Sharpshooting sophomore Porter Gillispie provided scoring off the bench, averaging 6.0 pts.Travis, Brown, Knowles, and mid-season addition Jonathan Carter '26 bolstered the Chargers front-court with toughness and experience.

Despite the transfer of Williams, head coach Dylan Sullivan will reload with a core of experienced players and several newcomers, including Timothy Young '29 ( brother of NBA Atlanta Hawks' Trae Young) to make another deep postseason run.
