Liza Wheeler '17 began her volleyball career at the age of 12. She played club volleyball for 6 years and participated in Heritage Hall’s middle school and high school volleyball programs. Liza played Varsity volleyball for the Chargers from 2013-2016, winning two State Championship titles in 2013 and 2014, as well as a State Runner-Up title in 2015. After Liza graduated from Heritage Hall, she continued her education at the University of Oklahoma earning a bachelor’s degree in both Psychology and in Criminology. While at OU, Wheeler began her coaching career at Oklahoma Peak Performance and joined the Heritage Hall volleyball coaching staff a few years later. She is currently working toward earning her Master of Social Work from the University of Oklahoma. Liza has been a part of the Heritage Hall volleyball coaching staff since the 2020 season.
