CROSS COUNTRY
Unquestionably the finest long-distance runner in school history, Brent was the 2A state cross-country champion on the first two Charger cross-country teams in 1986 and 1987, for which he was also named to the 1986 and 1987 All-State Cross-Country Teams. His 5 kilometer time of 16:04, set in his senior year, is still the best time ever recorded at that distance by a Heritage Hall runner -- 26 seconds ahead of the field!

TRACK AND FIELD
Brent is undoubtedly one of the greatest track and field competitors in the history of Heritage Hall’s storied program.  Winner of the State title in the 1600- and 3200-meter runs in both the 1987 and 1988 State Meet, he also was a member of the 3200-meter relay team that won the 1988 State Championship.  Through 2005, he still holds the school records in both individual events.
