FOOTBALL
Khari shares the school record for interceptions in a game (3) and ranks 3rd in unassisted tackles for a game (7). His defensive prowess as a speedy and hard-hitting defensive back led to his selection as a Little All-City Defensive Back of the Year in both 1991 and 1993, when he was also named to the 2A All-State team and the Oil Bowl squad. Khari was also a three-year starter at quarterback, where he was a threat both throwing and running the ball.

BASKETBALL
Khari was a prolific scorer, leading the 1992-93 and 1993-94 Chargers by averaging 13.2 and 15.6 points per game, respectively.  His play also helped the 1993-94 team win the District Championship. Khari’s career point total (921) ranks 6th in Charger history.

TRACK AND FIELD
Through 2005, Khari Manuel was the only long jumper in Charger history to soar past 22 feet.  Crowned State Championship in the 1993 State Meet, his leap of 22’11.75” stood as the school record through 2005, along with his 200-meter time of 22.21 seconds.  He also anchored the 1994 400-meter relay team to a school record time of 43.90 seconds. Khari was also an outstanding football and basketball player for Heritage Hall.
