FOOTBALL
Although chase only played two years for the chargers, the versatile two-way player (QB, WR, RB, DB) ranks 2nd in interceptions a season (9), 2nd in TD receptions in a season (11), 6th in career scoring (210), and 15th in career tackles (240), after being named to the Little All-City,2A state, and Oklahoma All-State teams in 2000, Chase went on to play football at Oklahoma State University.

SOCCER
Chase suffered a shoulder injury during football in his senior year, thus making him unavailable to participate on the 2001 soccer team. As a junior, however, he rewrote the record books in leading the Chargers to a winning record and to the state tournament- both program firsts. Tall and strong, chase possessed sprinter speed and close ball skills, which he honed as a child growing up in Germany. Chase could crack bullets with either foot from 35 yards out, and his long drives routinely sent startled goalkeepers scrambling. He scored 19 goals and assisted on 23 other as a junior co-captain, a team record for points in a season. Chase was named Co-MVP with Wes Welker ‘00 in 2000, and he was also selected to the 2000 All- District team.
