Nicole tried out for cross-country as a freshman and proceeded to run a 12:18 two-mile race to record Heritage Hall’s second best time at that distance, trailing only Dini Pineda’s 12:04. As a result, Nicole was named to the 2004 Girls’ All-State Cross-Country team.
