Cole Strickland was a two-time ALl-State runner (2000 and 2001), who matched Doug Vrooman’s 16:59 for the 5K, becoming one of only six Chargers ever to break the 17-minute mark in a 5K meet. Cole was named to the All-State Cross-Country team in both 2000 and 2001.
