Wes was a prolific scorer and rebounder for the Chargers, ranking #13 in career points (759) and #2 in career rebounds (530).  He led the team in scoring during his junior and senior years, and his 448 points during the 1980-81 campaign ranks #6 for points in a season.  His 325 rebounds in 1980-81 ranks #1 for a single season, and his combined scoring and rebounding that year earned him Little All-City recognition.
