FIELD HOCKEY
As a four-year varsity starter, Kate was the first great hockey player to emerge at Heritage Hall. Playing on teams that only won eight games in four years, Kate nevertheless ranks second all-time in goals scored in a season (9) and a career (19).

BASKETBALL
The first All-Stater in Lady Charger basketball history, Kate led the great 1994 team in scoring, averaging 16, 17 points per game. She was also named the Little All-City Player of the Year in 1994, and her 949 career points rank 4th while her 385 points in a season rank 3rd. An incredibly gifted competitor. Kate’s 497 career rebounds rank 2nd behind Julie Hudman ‘83. A marksman from the charity stripe, Kate’s career free-throw percentage (71.1%) ranks #1 (through 2005). Returning to her alma mater to coach, Kate will be remembered as the best player on one of the most outstanding teams in Lady Charger basketball history.

TENNIS
Named Oklahoma Coaches Association Player of the Year in 1994, Kate was another of the great multi-sport athletes competing for Heritage Hall in the early 1990s. Also named to the 1994 All-State team, she was a 3-time State Champion in #1 Singles and ranks 2nd in career wins in singles (108) and 3rd in total career wins in singles and doubles (134). Kate was a member of three Charger State Championship teams (1991, 1992, and 1994). Kate continued her brilliant tennis career at the University of Oklahoma.
